I agree. If it's not going to be profitable, it won't be sustainable for the long term. As such, a cheaper and better solution that is more sustainable should be considered... (i.e. increased bussing services, longer haul, fewer stop bussing, etc. that would be much cheaper.)

Yes, the Key bridge is yet another issue, but wouldn't it be less costly and more affordable to run commuter buses across that 35-mile corridor instead of commuter trains?
